[at one of the tables in the lobby, Persephone has set up a electric kettle (borrowed from the kitchen), a teapot, and a bunch of cups (also borrowed from the kitchen). There's also a prettily handwritten cardboard sign propped up, saying 'free tea and a smile. Or a soothing song.']

I hope this is, ah, at least a little soothing. Or at least, ah, nice in the morning.

[Persephone himself is perched at the edge of the table, looking a little paler than normal and sleepy.]

Ah... I think they changed something with what counted as a live for us when I'd just started, or something like that.

...though I can't imagine them changing it that much. I suppose I could hold... a tea-making competition...?

Just, well, turn everything into some kind of competition or quest, I suppose. Although that probably defeats the point of "self-care."

...we were going to try and do a "quest" to find the gardener fellow on LiliS and ask him about gardening, but I found him before I actually thought to do it.

I do not, ah, know much about competitive things, but that is a necessary position, isn't it?

I suppose so, at least in the sports I'm familiar with...

Sometimes I just feel like I'm disappointing someone by not being more aggressive.

Hm... it's sort of that, I guess—well, most people here take not wanting to fight as a positive, but—well, Amaranth seems a little disappointed, every time I run into her.

...sometimes, it's a little tiring to be asked what I want, I suppose.

It is, ah, stressful sometimes, is it not? Especially given the, ah...stakes with decisions.

With, ah, very...firm ideas. And, ah, ideals.

I admire it, somewhat... to have such strong conviction in spite of so little memories. But it's a little intimidating.

Maybe someone has to be, getting dropped into a new unit, but—I don't even know why she cares so much. About anyone else, that is.
