Ah yes, a "brand". We all have an image to emulate, and deviating beyond it is considered heresy.

That's a good motto.

I realize it loses some impact given that we live in hell, but it also expresses my feelings succinctly.

Short and sweet works best. I'm not big on brands, but I love a good motto.

I admit, I don't.

It's a reminder to not be held down by past accomplishments. Instead of re-living things you've done, it's important to seek out what more you can do. It's about constantly taking on new challenges and striving to do better than you've done, rather than being satisfied.

... ah, I see. So there is little value in nostalgia for you?

Nostalgia is fine, but it's basically a reminder to keep working hard. It's not saying ignore the past, just don't get trapped in it or lazy.

Because you can achieve greatness without things like memories?

Ah...that's not the point at all. It's just about not being complacent. Let's see....say you paint something really great! You're not just going to stop at that painting and never hold a brush again, right?

Of course not. I doubt I'll ever be satisfied with my work enough to stop painting.

Exactly. It's not that the one painting isn't great, but it's about wanting to do something even greater. Get it?

Precisely. Those who have modeled for me before have been wonderful, to be sure, but I have not had much opportunity to capture someone with as impressive a physique as yours.

If you want motion sketches, you could always sit in for stretches and practice. Ah, but I’m guessing you mean sitting still?

Motion sketches are fine, but yes, I was picturing you posing without moving.
