WHEN: Day 1, Morning

[ You all wake up in bed with your smartphone at your bedside. The closet door is locked, so if you want to change out of your sleepwear, no dice. If you try to remember why you locked your closet door, also no dice, since you remember absolutely nothing from before waking up.

At least you've got all these other amnesiacs waking up in the same dormitory you can ask questions that they also don't have the answer to! The only thing that even pretends to have answers is your smartphone, which helpfully has your profile, a rundown on your unit, a map and city information, and your job description: while your every waking moment is being filmed and broadcast to a live audience, you'll get to conduct lives, perform in videos, and participate in game shows where you'll compete against other units! Congratulations on becoming an idol!

The television in the main room is waiting for your input; the current display is a list of the "names" of everyone in your unit with flashing empty boxes next to each of them, much like the ones on your profiles, waiting for you to each assign yourself a personal color— your position within the unit.

Once you've all chosen, the closet doors will unlock. It seems the elevator doors are staying locked while waiting on other units to finish sorting out their positions. Maybe go put on some real clothes in the meantime. ]

((Your character's sleepwear is whatever you want it to be, be it embarrassing onesie or long nightgown or just boxer shorts, though only white and unit colored. This post is for you to meet and greet your unit; another post will be going up tomorrow for characters to explore the setting outside of their dorms and meet other units.))

After a minute or two of being groggy and trying to piece together the situation, he's still not sure whether he ought to be scared or not. Eh, it's too early in the morning for tears and panicking. He can make up his mind later. For now, he cracks his door open and peeks out.]

[ good morning. someone wearing a comfortably oversized black-and-white T-shirt is suddenly grabbing him by a fistful of his onesie, attempting to forcibly drag him out of his room and put him down on the floor of the hall. which is probably helpful for not inducing panic and all that. ]

She takes all of this in stride, rummaging around her room before just walking right out into the main room to mess with her phone and look around. Smile smile. ]
