[You might just have bad luck today! ♪ ★ ♪

Whether you just suddenly trip right into a hole or walk through a door or maybe you just got the alert and walked there on your own, you end up straight into the game tower.

It's looking pretty wild with lights flashing everywhere and probably loud rave music playing in the background.

There's something extra different today though! On the screens, there's a weird dude on there spinning around in a chair, looking like he's having the time of his life!

[Hey, babe.

Don't destroy him, please. He actually can't drive apparently]

[A 4 means she slams into his car at high speed with a grin.]

Is that the best you can do?

[Hits the gas as he turns the well sharply]

I'm just getting warmed up.

[And a second attack - this time for 3]

[She meets him head on with her own 3, and he gets sprayed in the face with ribbons as she gets hit with duct tape for a second time.]

Ugh! What's with the tape?!

[Ribbons seem like a much better option then tape. It's true]

Duct tape is a magical marvel of modern science.

[A pause and then:]

Are you going to be able to get out of that car when this is all said and done?

I guess we'll have to see when it's all over.

[She tugs a piece of tape off her face, wincing slightly as it catches a bit of her hair.]

Or we can see now.

[Untangling himself from the many ribbons -- this takes a few moments (minutes?) -- to step out of his car]

[That makes her blink in surprise, but she steadies her car and waits, tugging off a few more bits of duct tape that are fastening her to her seat in the meantime, and noting that her feet seem to be attached to both the floor and the gas pedal, somehow.]

What are you doing...?

[Is her car still moving?

Because if it is, he's going to Power Down it, so it's not]

[She had stopped it, but tugging on her gas pedal foot jumps it forward a few times until the Power Down.]

...That seems a bit like cheating.

[Mild. She doesn't seem particularly upset as sits back in her seat and watches him.]

Of course it's cheating. But real cheating would be if I attacked you while your car was turned off.

[Comes up to the side of Maki's car and peers over to see just how stuck she really is]

[She is not actually stuck too badly; other than her feet, most of the duct tape is just stuck cosmetically to her clothes or skin or the car itself. A bit of it on the door has caught some of her hair.]

...Right. So, what do you think...? Will I ever be free?

[Leans against the car door, careful not to pull on her hair]

Diagnosis looks grim. You just might be stuck in there forever.

[suppressing a smile as she looks up at him.]

Forever is a strong word. I could always start cutting off limbs.

Not going to wait around for a knight in shining armor to come save you?

I'm not sure I know any of those.

You have no one to blame but yourself for that.

[Starts picking at the tape at the door, trying to free her hair without pulling on it too much]

Are you planning to take that role?

Absolutely not. I'm quite enjoying you as a captive audience.

[He just doesn't want you to rip any more of your hair out. Vain? Even about Maki. But of course]

Oh, I see. You've got me trapped now.

[Just smiling to himself as he finishes pulling the rest of the tape off the door]

Now just what am I going to do to you?

[Maki smooths out her hair a bit]

Do you think you can just do whatever you want?

That depends. Do they let you keep your weapons on you when you enter a game like this?
