...To be honest, I kinda thought she was probably a simulation instead of a real person. But if she still exists in some capacity... I'd like to know how she's doing.

Yeah, like that. The vid room can produce some stuff that's indistinguishable from reality... And if the game were just a simulation, it might explain why you couldn't take your daughter out of the room.
