Corona said he was angry at Intensity for defeating King in a duel in a previous round, and that's why he attacked him. Why did he shock you, though?

[Shrugs.]

You'll have to ask him, but I imagine it had something to do with me messing with his head the round before. Though I'm not sure why he agreed to fight alongside me. That's the piece I can't figure out.

Ah, the duel. I actually started in the same place as CEO and King. There is something between those two that they need to figure out. And if they both agree on a few death matches to get there, well, then that's what they need. But that is between them. It wasn't forced.

[Tilting his head at Cobalt.]

I'm not going to go into a revenge spiral with Yugi if that is your concern. I gave my word to B to keep things civil outside of games, and I do intent to keep my word to him.

Oh! No, no, I'm not worried about either of you seeking revenge or anything, I'm just trying to wrap my head around what happened.

My understanding, from what Corona has told me, is that he got into an argument with Intensity and he followed you into the tunnels to get away from him. When Intensity showed up anyway, he decided to work with you so that he could get revenge for King's defeat.

It sounds like when you fled after getting attacked, Corona felt angry about being abandoned, and maybe that's why he shocked you? I'm not a hundred percent clear on that one, though. My guess was that your death was an accident and he panicked.

Now that it's all over, he sounds remorseful and upset about his actions, so I can't tell what part of it was Machai Provocation and what part was just straight-up bad decisions under pressure. I honestly wouldn't have pegged him as the vengeful type, so a lot about these accounts has been pretty surprising.

I know King and Yugi have an important bond, but he really needs to let King manage his own affairs. Those two are just going to butt heads a lot and you have to let them or else they are just going to go at each other harder. And you can't tell CEO no. At least... not directly.

[Puts a hand on Cobalt's shoulder.]

I'll talk to him. Both of them actually, Yugi and Sunshine. I think you have enough concerns on your plate. Let's see if I can at least help with this one.

I think both of them could benefit from talking things out with you at some point, when you're all ready for it.

Thanks for the help... but I imagine you have plenty of concerns on your plate too, don't you? Sounds like your unit had a pretty rough time.

Bad End tends to take care of itself once the initial first few hours are done. A lot of our closest connections are off unit, so I'm sure they are out and about now. And getting out will help them.

Healed against his will and mad as a hornet. He'll be fine. If he wasn't angry, I'd be worried.

Honestly, his anger is what I'm worried about.

He had some really bad times in the game, and I'm kinda concerned that he might...try something.

He probably will, but I think stopping him would be more harmful then letting him get his frustrations out.

I'm willing to give him some rope this time. He hasn't done something completely stupid yet, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, I think it would be counter-productive to try and stop him, what I'm worried about is someone provoking him.

He'll probably be okay if he has some time to cool off... I'm gonna leave him alone for a while.

Do you two meet each other in the game?

We did. It was ...a pretty upsetting situation.

Apparently Sunshine ran into him in the round before mine, too, so between the two of us we were able to get a better idea of what happened to him.

Seems like he got outnumbered a few times and ran into some cowards as he tells it.

Yeah. A guy from Taisho shot him without warning in one of the rounds. When Thorn tried to return the challenge, the guy and his friends killed him in a super unfair fight.

He came back angry in the round after that and went after the guy again. I was there that time... I tried to diffuse the fight, and as things were calming down, another person randomly appeared out of nowhere to defend the shooter and killed Thorn again anyway.

So he got outnumbered and killed twice in really unfair fights with the same person, and -- unless he had more rounds than that -- he probably didn't get a chance to work out his differences with the guy inside the game.

I'm not surprised he's mad about it. He definitely has a reason to be. Honestly, I'm pretty angry about it, too.

Trust me, I do enjoy Thorn and his company, but if he's going to run headlong into a fight multiple times then he needs to pick a different strategy.

Though who is this backstabber from the second round. They sound like a complete asshole.

He's your friend. I would expect you to be angry on his behalf even though it seems he has enough anger for everyone.

The person from the second round was, uh, Hiryuu.

I'll probably be okay in a while, yeah. Once I have time to process.
