There was this hallway, of like - bones, and circuitry. And then a bar, and the furniture was full of monsters? But the monsters were wire. And the people, too, they were like - wires, and skeletons, and faces underneath, and the whole place sounded like -

[He breaks off, for a second. Then he makes this noise, a robotic kind of hum.]

- like some kinda uncanny valley sci-fi horror movie deal.

I dunno. I dunno if they were even people. The only thing there that looked anything close to normal was Lilith. Everything else was like - wire, and bones, and monsters hiding underneath.

I asked what was up with the decor, and she said the different Princes have different tastes, and she wasn't a fan, but the drinks were good.

Did something happen that would bring you to that conclusion?

I mean. She didn't get anything, right? So it's gotta be something - something about it just happening she likes.

That is one possibility. But I'll ask you again - is there anything specifically that makes you favor that hypothesis?

What else could it be?

She could be lying to you about not getting anything. She could be trying to get points for Hell somehow - though I have no fucking idea how that system works. Or even though she's not a Prince, she could be looking for her own recruits.

There are really endless possibilities to what her end goal is, but it doesn't seem like she's interested in sharing because she sees us as nothing more than pawns.
