[will lean over and give Anubis a hug, then, cool arms winding around him.]

[hugs back, taking a shaky breath.]

[doesn't really have much to say in response. just...hums soothingly, keeping on hugging him, and pets his hair, trying to be soothing.]

... I don't know what you're comfortable with. But if you do disagree with some of the others' actions... then talking to them about it. But...

I don't actually know how you feel about what they did. What they keep doing.

...I'm still, ah, working through how I feel about it. I wasn't, ah, present in either game, so I cannot say with certainty what I would have or not done under pressure.

But even if they meant to, ah, protect us, it's putting us into more danger instead.

All I know about the trial is that the point was to prove unity, and that literally no other unit hurt others. That's as far as the explanations got before devolving into "you wouldn't understand because you're a good person or you're too emotional or you automatically will assume the worst."

[sounds a little bitter maybe]

I don't really, ah, know much either, since I just...couldn't catch people, since I was always asleep when they were around. What I know, I found out from Kuzuebiko.

[sighs, and pets his hair.]

...I don't, ah, know what I'll do in the future, but I can at least promise that I'll tell you why I'll do something, even if you don't agree with my logic behind it.

As long as you don't claim that the reason is that you're a bad person.

I'm not, ah, a good person, but that will never be my stated reason for doing anything.
