[there is apparently a newbie in team neutral pajamas sitting on one of the crates, just idly playing with what seems to be their shiny new smartphone and seems to look rather comfortable with themselves and is just squinting at all of this without any regard to the fact that the dorm door is locked.

she is absolutely minding her own business, and whether she is sorry for it or not has yet to be seen.

I guess... mostly, I wanted to make sure we're both fine where things stand right now.

I've made a lot of mistakes in this area before, so I just want to be sure.

I dunno... I just know... you used to not even understand anything I said or did. And I wasn't helping or making it any easier like that, either.

And I know that's not a good habit for me to have, either, but... you don't just assume that just because I'm decent enough at emotions, I should be good enough to understand things without people telling me things.

I frequently leave doors open? And people can walk through if they want. But when I leave a door open and person doesn't even see that--basically. You make it really clear when you see the open door, when you walk through or choose not to.

I'm not even sure that made sense...

Mm. It took me awhile. But I figured it out. I think...the game with the little girls helped.

[kind of ironic considering how mad she got at him there, but blowing up helped her realize some things, too. So it worked out.]
