[ Sunshine is obviously holding his phone like a selfie, as he speeds across his favorite rooftops and clears them in his typically unnecessarily risky leaps. Of course, that ever-present chipper grin is expertly shaped on his face. ]

Seems I got caught up in some things and haven't had a chance to do my part for the welcoming committee. So I figured I'd outsource it. This is for you, flower children and suits! But it can also probably work as an all-around mentor ad.

What I'm looking for is some quick words on the person or persons that was most helpful to you when you arrived, outside of your unit of course. We're just going to assume all of our unitmates are awesome at showing the newbies the ropes. Nope, we're looking for the people newbies should talk to if they want to widen their social circle while learning to adjust to this place.

So let's hear your recommendations!

On an unrelated but still poll-related note, what's your favorite treat after you've had a really bad day? You never know when that might come in handy for your buddies. Or even a nice holiday surprise!

Huh... mentor's kinda tricky. I woke up on day 1, so.

Guess if I woke up now, though, I'd want Intensity or B to fill me in. They always seem to know what's going on.

Hitting up the people in the know is always a good place to start. B might be a little easier on newbies though.

What would you say are their specialties when it comes to helping newbies?

All of pep!, obviously, but King, Primrose, Nine-Nine, Intensity, ...I’m probably forgetting some others, but my first day was pretty crazy. But they’re my top picks.

You really had a crash course so your picks are probably some of the most tested ones. How'd they each help you out?

King and Primrose were both really friendly and with all the crap going on it was just really nice. Helped offset the confusion and fear a bit.

[ and the same could be said for all of pep. you guys were all amazing and he really couldn’t have been put in a better unit. ]

Nine-Nine and Intensity filled me in on what was going on, which was, again, a definite plus. Knowledge is power and all that.

My first minute out the door, Phoenix and Angel were the first people to show me kindness. It was a big deal to me. After that, Phoenix was very patient with me and helped me learn about how Lives worked and stuff. I think he helped me more than anyone, those first few days.

Everyone at Heart Soldier Senshi also helped a TON by making a primer for us, too! Everyone is really nice!

I still don't know Phoenix that well. I'm glad to hear a good mention of Angel as a mentor though. She definitely gives the warmest welcomes.

Hopefully, others will get a chance to meet them the same way.

...Ah. What a thoughtful idea for a survey. I look forward to hearing the results.

I still have many people left to meet, but for my part, several members of the avante en garde unit have been quite noble in sharing information and advice with me. Cardigan is one I would name in particular. I am grateful to Cap as well, though she is apparently new, herself.

And, ah... [ going a bit more solemn ] ...Cap shared what she had learned from her unit of the dangers that await idols in this place. Cardigan, who I gather has been here longer, was able to... add more detail. Without them, I might have remained dangerously naive, and both made it clear that, regardless of the difference in our units, they valued the safety of myself and LiliS.
