Boss seems to be dressed in a suit that's not quite the right fit and his Take No Prisoners t-shirt. maybe some of you even remember a certain portrait that he seems to eerily resemble?

he just smiles up at a camera and waves before going to lounge on a lobby couch near the flames. he hasn't slept much recently, so a nap is fine, right? it's fine.]

What? What did you want, exactly, Maki? Me to be there to hold you hand the entire time you faded away? And I'm the uncompassionate one? I'm the unempathetic one? I didn't object when you wanted to hide away at Future is Now both before and after we found out the root of the problem. I didn't object when you didn't want to talk about how things were for you.

You yell at me about not opening up but you shut down the first moment something's going on with you. I tell you how I'm feeling about something, and you bite my head off assuming I'm--what? Saying my experience is worse? Obviously that's not the case! That's why I'm willing to go this far!

So go ahead. Assume what you want and feel what you want. I've never once stopped you from doing either, and I'm not going to start now. It's not going to change anything about this situation--though if you're starting to hate me, good. At least then you might have some fucking will to live again.

But most of all I'm bringing it up because if this is something we did willingly, then we really have no room to complain.
