Oh yeah, it's gettin' there. Once it starts steaming, it's probably hot enough to serve.

So it shouldn't boil?

Nah, you want to take it off the heat before then. If it boils it gets kind of a weird texture.

You can tell if it's getting close to boiling if the milk starts foaming up a little around the edges.

I see. I'll try to remember that.

What do you say we make one cup with each topping and you can try them both?

But one is yours.

I like both toppings, so if you sample them both and find that you like one more than the other, I can take the one you didn't pick.
