[ At the karaoke bar, the rooms are decorated in the style of LiliS, SensitIV, ☆Zrael, Wild City, Avante, and HSS as the "winners" of the latest horrifying game, dubious though the title is. A group is gathering there in search of some mutual comfort after these recent, trying days, with plans for lots of drinks, songs, and plenty of cuddles for whoever wants them -- won't you join them? ]

[ A handwritten sign just at the entrance reads: ]

Rules:
1. No brooding
2. Anyone wanting to engage in "improper behavior" must get permission from Suou Tsukasa

[ -- that last one is probably just a dig at the poor boy for attempting to moralize to immortals, but do with it as you like. ]

[ Everyone who was at Ideal Worlds endgame, knows the three party planners, is in their units, or just heard about this shindig through the robust hell grapevine should consider themselves invited! In fact, you might have been dragged against your will -- they are a rather incorrigible bunch, after all. ]

A musician, huh? That is pretty different. Some art is technical, but when it's a genius....it's like trying to define an emotion.

If I said something impolite, then I shall apologize with the same depth of the ocean. I will be careful to reflect.

I suppose... that is exactly what Leo-san's music is like. It is as though it has the ability to touch the very soul. Whenever inspiration strikes, he immediately has to write it all down. He is eccentric but there is no denying his talent.

Perhaps you would like to listen to some of his work?

Being called primitive and a bizarre weirdo ain't great.

If you have some on hand, I could listen, yeah.

[ Pulling up his phone. He'll play some music for him. It's beautifully composed, sparking joy, as well as a contented peace and serenity. ]

It's so easy to listen to.

I know. Just letting you know you can sound like that. Not everyone is as relaxed about that sort of thing as me.

He is the one who writes all of our music within Knights.

The only one I have of us all together is a rather frustrating one. I only know we function well from what I have been told and from what I have heard. As well as from the bit of practice I had with my senpai when they were here before being transferred.

Ouch. That's always rough. When you know things are supposed to be better, but never really get to see it yourself.

Mm. I was only a new member of the unit at the time, and was quite frustrated with our leader. I even voiced my frustrations and complaints about his terrible behavior. But it all backfired spectacularly because he challenged us to a duel meant to wipe us from existence.

Your...leader did? How do you wipe a singing group from existence?

He was the official leader. His goal was to force us to disband, which he had the ability to do. Through using the resources and rules within our school, he planned to form another unit in order to compete against us.

If we lost, we were to disband immediately. If we won, he would do whatever it was we wanted.

I wish that I knew! The memory ends with his ridiculous demands after thoroughly insulting me.

And what grates me more than anything, is that he wasn't wrong in his assessment that I had not performed all that well that day. B-But it was because he was watching me while smirking from the audience! I- I wasn't really holding everyone back, surely...

You were new. And he wanted to wreck your unit and putting pressure on you when new.

Whether or not you were holding people back doesn't matter. The reason you work with people with more experience is so you can learn and get help to be better. And they take you on because they can teach you to be great, but that takes time.

Well... it is all in the past. While I still have no idea why he decided to challenge us, or what his reasoning was, he eventually made me the king, as I am now the new leader of our unit.

So surely that means we must have won? Or perhaps he never wanted us to lose in the first place. Quite honestly, I cannot ever understand his intentions or where he is coming from. Because he thinks in a manner that seems to lack all sense and logic to me.

He is like an uncontrollable three-year-old.

Generally seems like a bad policy unless its literally life or death.

Perhaps. I suppose, unless he returns, I really won't know.

I cannot allow you to speak poorly of Leo-san!

While he is frustrating, never listens to what I am saying let alone reason, and has a complete lack of regard toward the consideration of others, his skill is without rival! No matter how terrible his attention span or even memory, or even his ability to make a coherent sentence, he is one of my noble and magnificent senpais whom I admire and love! I can only hope to possess even a portion of his raw talent and skill, and hope to be as commanding and brilliant as him someday.

[ In other words, only he can talk trash about him...!! ]

Skill only buys you so much leniency. Especially in a leadership position.

It's one thing to admire him, value what he does, it's another to think that makes a good leader. Ultimately an essential part of being a good leader is checking your own ego for the good of your people. [Very calm and matter of fact.]

If talent can't practice at least a little humility, they're better as someone to be directed then to direct.

I will not hear another word. He led our unit through one battle to the next with great strength of character and dignity. As vexingly incomprehensible as he can be from time to time, the results of our victories speak for themselves.

He is a great leader and the reason we are considered one of the top three powerhouse units, now.

What is more- not one of us would ever follow a leader we did not respect or find worthy of the crown. We are a unit of individualists, and much too proud to bow our heads to just anyone. Nay, not a single knight would bend a knee to anyone less than deserving of our respect and our swords.
