[ At the karaoke bar, the rooms are decorated in the style of LiliS, SensitIV, ☆Zrael, Wild City, Avante, and HSS as the "winners" of the latest horrifying game, dubious though the title is.  A group is gathering there in search of some mutual comfort after these recent, trying days, with plans for lots of drinks, songs, and plenty of cuddles for whoever wants them -- won't you join them? ]

[ A handwritten sign just at the entrance reads: ]

Rules: 
1. No brooding
2. Anyone wanting to engage in "improper behavior" must get permission from Suou Tsukasa

[ -- that last one is probably just a dig at the poor boy for attempting to moralize to immortals, but do with it as you like. ]

[ Everyone who was at Ideal Worlds endgame, knows the three party planners, is in their units, or just heard about this shindig through the robust hell grapevine should consider themselves invited!  In fact, you might have been dragged against your will -- they are a rather incorrigible bunch, after all. ]

Seriously! Modern liquor from my home world. There's a whole industry devoted to getting people who don't like bitter flavors to buy booze. Usually they're not made quite this strong, but if I have any hope of feeling anything I need to get as much down as I can, fast.

[ He's about two dozen of these behind, matter of fact. ]

[ And he plans to get only more behind, as the evening goes on! ]

Wow. I've definitely been ordering the wrong drinks.

[ Yes well, he is only human. But he's pretty impressive for a human if you ask her! ]

You want one? A less concentrated one, I mean. I have to get you all pliable somehow.

[ ♥ ] [ And wow that absolutely startles a laugh out of him. Lupine drags a hand down his face, shoulders shaking. ]

[ But the hand drops, and he's switched gears pretty seamlessly. ]

I wasn't pliable enough for you last night?

[ Her answer to that could go either way: gorging herself on his blood and hanging on him all night was absolutely great, and she doesn't even mind that he now knows what gets her weak in the knees (she can trust him with it), but she does usually like more of a fight from him in whatever sense of the word. ]

[ And it is gratifying to know that when they're both a mess that he trusts her enough to let her be there. Certain people asking to be alone after that game really messed with her head even if she didn't take it personally. ]

It is a miracle and a shame that you ever get out of bed, so I'd like to keep you there as often as possible. [ Favoring him with an arch expression like the little dominatrix he well knows she can be. ] Problem?

[ Yeah, he... yeah. He had never wanted to be alone less in his life than last night, so. That worked out well for both of them. ] [ Chuckles, propping his chin up on one elbow. ]

I dunno, I think there're other things worth doing with your body, too. [ Your as in general? Your as in Zari's? ] Make some time in there for a good long sparring session now and again.

[ Will, in fact, sometimes abuse the knowledge he's gained, but isn't that just turnabout? She knows about his ear thing, after all. ]

I can multitask, you know.

[ A mattress in such a scenario might suffer, but sacrifices have been made for worse reasons. (She's kidding around anyway.) ][ And don't worry about the turnabout, she lives for turnabout. ]

You know it won't take much to talk me into that, but one does tend to lead to the other. [ Probably not tonight, though. The others here she has her eye on don't fight for foreplay as far as she knows, and even if they did there are only so many hours in a night, she has to be efficient. ]

[ His eyes lid. ]

Think I'd taste better, if there were still adrenaline pumping through my veins?

[ It doesn't have to be leading anywhere, really. He'd flirt just to flirt, as long as they were both having fun with it. ]

[ Say that and then claim it isn't going anywhere? Don't make her laugh. ]

Huh, I can't say I've thought about it. [ She sure is now though, and it shows in the lopsided bow of her smile. ] I think you taste good no matter what, but it can't hurt to try.

[ It doesn't have to go anywhere to be fun!! There's a difference. ]

Flattering. [ Grin. ] Work me up, bleed me a little... that'd get me pliant, too.

[ Knowing some of each other's weaknesses is such a wonderful, productive place to be ]

We're back to you being a tease, but I can't say I mind. [ He does have delightful follow-through and all. ] I wouldn't want to monopolize your time, but if you're going to say things like that...

[ It is nice. He doesn't have a lot to compare it to right now, but he kind of thinks this beats anonymous sex with strangers by a lot. ] [ His eyes lid. ]

Considerate of you, but I don't think I've got any big plans.

[ She'll consider this a very loose plan then, and if he gets a better offer then she'll catch him next time. (See? Casual hookups 10/10, complicated and possibly unrequited romantic feelings 0/10, it's just a fact.) ]

You up for some more company, if things go that way? [ She thinks probably so, but just assuming is bad manners. Surprise maneuvers are only for animal ears ]

[ Yeah, he'd drink to that, if she said it out loud. And then he'd feel a little embarrassed, probably, because he doesn't have any experience with half of that. Right? ] [ Oh. His eyes go just a little bit dark. ]

Depends on the company, but... there's a lot of nice company around here.

[ Laughing, just lightly ] Hopefully you'll find I have a good enough eye for these things.

[ Either she's fabulous at reading people or she's terrible at it, absolutely no middle ground, and the latter would not be likely to make this particular short list. ]

I'm not entirely sure where things will head, but I don't have it in me to leave a good time alone at the bar when they might be willing to be a little flexible.

[ Eyebrows lifting. ]

Did you have anyone particular in mind, or are you just giving me a heads-up that you might be inviting me to an orgy?

[ And he says it playfully, and it would probably be a real good time in at least one sense of the word, but man. He's genuinely not sure he'd be up for that with anyone he doesn't already know really well. He hadn't wanted just sex last night, and he's not sure he wants it tonight, either. Still feeling some of the sting from too much time spent alone, wishing he knew someone better. ]

[ Yeah she's with him on that page; Ren and Kitsu both scratched a bit of that itch but not so much that she'd make this offer to just anyone. ]

I was thinking I'd ask Venti, if he's so inclined. [ She actually hasn't taken Venti to bed yet, proverbially speaking, but they have a good rapport like all salacious immortals should. ] But I'm open to suggestions if you have something different in mind.

[ —Oh. That's... maybe the best company you could've picked, and the beat of surprise on his face before it settles into warm interest probably says as much. ]

I mean... if he's amenable.

[ Yes, she definitely recognizes the approval for what it is. ] Let me ask him, but I have a feeling he'll approve. We're alike in a lot of ways.

-- why did you look surprised, though? Questioning my taste?

[ His grin widening, until she asks that and makes him laugh. Lupine shakes his head quickly. ]

I mean, there's a trap if I've ever heard one, but no, not questioning it. Just...

[ Trails off. ]

He's a lot of fun. [ Wink. ] He'll definitely show you a good time, if he's up for it.

You'll both show me a good time, and each other, if I have my way. [ And she does so like getting her way. ]

But if there's something I need to know, I'd rather know it now. [ If he says there's not, well, she'll trust that. ]
