It's one thing to admire him, value what he does, it's another to think that makes a good leader. Ultimately an essential part of being a good leader is checking your own ego for the good of your people. [Very calm and matter of fact.]
If talent can't practice at least a little humility, they're better as someone to be directed then to direct.
