If I said yes, that would be an easy thing to say with hindsight. I don't know what happened in that room, or how everyone was feeling in the moment, or how anyone else played against them. I don't have any right to say how I could have changed things that happened in the past.
But, in the future... I want my team to value themselves. I want everyone to play in a way that they can live with. In a way that won't make them miserable afterwards, and this clearly wasn't it, so I wouldn't let it happen again. We have people on our team that want to live, and want to protect each other. I wouldn't let those voices be ignored either.
